Beyond Awards — A Movement

primeCTF-Africa has evolved into the CyLab Security Academy, carrying forward a bigger vision for cybersecurity learning, mentorship, innovation, and community across Africa.

On 10th June 2026, the Upanzi Network at CMU-Africa will convene the Africa Cybersecurity Congress & primeCTF-Africa 2026 Awards — a grand hybrid gathering built around country hubs and connected spoke watch events. The event goes beyond awards: it is a space to strengthen national cybersecurity ecosystems, connect young people with mentors and career pathways, and show how hands-on training can support digital sovereignty and economic resilience across the continent.

"We are building a movement where learners become leaders, local communities become stronger ecosystems, and Africa's cybersecurity talent becomes globally competitive."
